A TARGET shopper blasted the state of the checkout lines that emerged in-store during the holiday season.
The customer lashed out at the popular chain because only two registers were apparently open.
The shopper, known only as Nick, shared a picture on X that showed families and other shoppers waiting with their buggies.
And, the lines seemed to stretch down the aisles.
“This is what a normal checkout looks like at my store,” Nick said.
“30 people in regular checkout and more in self-checkout. 2 registers open.”
A Target spokesperson swiftly responded and issued a groveling apology.
“We appreciate you bringing this to our attention,” they said.
“We apologize and would like to document this information for our store leadership team in hopes of creating a better checkout experience.”
They invited the shopper to send a direct message.
It’s unclear if an investigation was launched.
