Onyx BOOX has launched the Note Max, its latest and largest E Ink tablet yet, featuring a 13.3-inch display.
Designed for writing and reading, this device targets users who value a paper-like experience paired with advanced digital features. Priced at $650 (~PHP 37,800), it’s now available for purchase via Amazon and the BOOX Shop.
The Note Max boasts a 13.3-inch E Ink Carta 1300 screen with a 300 PPI resolution. Its surface mimics the texture of paper, providing natural friction for writing with a pressure-sensitive pen. The device measures just 4.6mm thick, making it slim for its size.
Under the hood, the Note Max is powered by a 2.8 GHz octa-core processor, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It runs on Android 13, enabling users to install third-party apps—a feature that sets it apart from competitors like the reMarkable 2 and Amazon Kindle Scribe.
