Apple has released the latest update to its iPhone, iPad and Mac operating systems today with the core update being the activation of Apple Intelligence for Australian users.
It launched initially in the USA with the release of iPhone 16, but today expands to more countries including Australia.
Apple is not the first to release an AI product, and certainly in the smartphone space it is the last across the line among the big guns like Samsung and Google.
I put this to Apple vice president of worldwide product marketing Bob Borchers and he reflected on the AI we’ve been using but probably not realising for years.
