Morgan Wallen did not attend Thursday night’s (Dec. 12) Billboard Music Awards.
The show is the one awards show where votes are not tallied. According to People, all the awards are based on “performance metrics on Billboard’s year-end charts. ”
The show, hosted by actress and comedian Michelle Buteau, aired on Thursday, December 12, on Fox and Amazon Fire TV and is now available to stream on Paramount+.
The show also had incredible performances from Je,lly Roll, Coldplay, Megan Moroney, Shaboozey, Teddy Swims, and many more.
Morgan Wallen won big, taking home four awards.
Morgan Wallen was the third-most nominated artist at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards, with 15 nominations. Zach Bryan led nominations with 18, and Taylor Swift was right behind him with 16.
The “Last Night” singer was nominated in country and all-genre categories and won four awards in total!
