A Valve insider has suggested the long-rumoured Half-Life 3 could be announced in 2025 as long as playtesting goes smoothly.
It looks like 2024 couldn’t end without one more rumour about Half-Life 3. While fans have been hoping for a proper sequel for years, the last several months have got people thinking that Valve really is making it.
Aside from a voice actor CV found in August, noteworthy Valve insiders have claimed to have found evidence of a new Half-Life being in development through datamining other Valve games, like Deadlock and Dota 2.
One of those insiders, Gabe Follower, has already boldly said Half-Life 3 is real after three years of investigating, and now he believes the game has entered the playtesting phase.
