Gibson has launched the Les Paul Studio Session, another rendition of the model it’s branding as “The One”.
This new version follows on from its Les Paul Studio sibling, launched in September, and has a slightly higher – but “accessible” price tag at $1,999 as opposed to $1,599. Gibson describes the Studio Session as “an enhanced version and a step up from the classic Les Paul Studio with upgraded features and refinements based on customer feedback and player requests”.
The Gibson Les Paul Studio Session features an ultra-modern weight-relieved mahogany body, making it lighter and more comfortable to play, plus a carved, AA figured maple cap that adds “brightness and definition to the overall tone”.
