Fort Frye closes out Tyler Consolidated 49-44 [Video]

MARIETTA, Ohio (WTAP) – This was a close one from wire to wire but the Cadets were able to hold off the Knights in the end.

There wasn’t a whole lot of scoring for either team outside of their top players. For Fort Frye, Clayton Miller scored 18 points, including a key layup off of a nice drive to the basket to extend the lead to five in crunch time. Miller was one of the only guys on the floor who was able to create his own offense, and he was awarded player of the game. Kainan Bradford was good down low for the Cadets, as he scored 13 points.

For Tyler Consolidated it was the Brady Strode show. He scored 21 points for the Knights, including a handful a three-pointers. Without his performance the final score likely would have been a lot more lopsided.
