Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) – With the second seed in sight for the Buffalo Bills against their division rivals in the New York Jets, the Bills locked up that two-seed with a dominating 40-14 victory at home in front of a rocking Highmark Stadium.
Credit to Bills quarterback Josh Allen for being an efficient part of the Bills offense on Sunday, as he completed 16 throws for 182 yards with two passing touchdowns and a 1st quarter rushing touchdown.
Allen and the Bills offense, despite leading at the half by a low scoring 12-0 lead, and starting off the game rather slowly, played a very efficient styled game, especially in the second half. The play of the game from Allen and the Bills offense that really put the Jets away for good was Allen’s 30-yard touchdown strike to Amari Cooper with 5:13 remaining in the 3rd quarter to put the Bills up 19-0.
