The average American spends thousands of dollars over the holiday season, a new survey has revealed.
Winter brings multiple major holidays celebrated across the United States, including Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa.
And with this comes travel costs to see family, gifts for loved ones, nights out and hosting parties and dinners—and it all adds up.
According to a new survey from Talker Research, commissioned by digital personal finance company Achieve, the average American that celebrates winter holidays will spend over $2,000 this holiday season.
The survey questioned 2,000 people about their plans and the cost-breakdown of those plans—as well as the impact of inflation and high prices.
