Wisconsin Elections Commission working to ‘pinpoint the root cause’ of printing delays [Video]

The third day of early in-person absentee voting also marked day three of delays with the system local election clerks use to print absentee certificate envelope labels.The Wisconsin Elections Commission said Thursday morning it received reports from some local elections officials who continued to experience delays. The delays followed a system update that was implemented Wednesday evening to try to fix the issue. In a statement, a spokesperson for the WEC said, “WEC staff are continuing to work alongside state partners to conduct further analysis to pinpoint the root cause and ultimately improve label printing time.””We hope that the state comes up with the solution fast because we don’t want to have our voters standing in line for so long,” Paulina Gutierrez, executive director for the Milwaukee Election Commission said.
